As part of Who’s at the Playhouse’s special fortieth anniversary celebration of K9’s first appearance on Doctor Who you can join the man behind the voice in a special ‘A Dog’s Life’ Q&A.

Join John Leeson on Sunday 1st October 2017 as he retraces some of his steps across a freewheeling and multi-faceted career. A career that includes jobs as an actor, a hospital porter, a (failed) encyclopedia salesman, a radio and television continuity ‘voice’, a question-setter for the BBC’s ‘Mastermind’, a wine educator and writer, a magistrate, a collaborating playwright, a local political candidate and a provider of on-screen food for ‘Poirot’ – PHEW!!!

And on top of all that he found himself as ‘the voice of K9’ for nearly 40 years. How did that happen? But is he now slowing down? Come and find out as this ‘low-profile’ actor invites you to enjoy some of his memories, including those of some of the big ‘names’ he has worked with over the years.
