Torchwood: Captain Jack Harkness
John Barrowman announced on Instagram that he’ll be reliving Torchwood episode Captain Jack Harkness’ on Thursday 2nd April as part of RadioTimes.com’s #RTWatch online simulcast of Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood after counting thousands of fan votes to choose which episode.
Fans around the world should press play on series one, episode 12 at 8pm BST (that’s 3pm ET and 12pm PT) and use the hashtags #RTWatch, #Torchwood and #CaptainJackHarkness to join in the conversation. John Barrowman plans to stream live on Instagram and share behind-the-scenes commentary on Twitter during the show.

The Eleventh Hour
One of, if not the, best opening episodes for a new Doctor, The Eleveth Hour gets its Twitter re-watch this Friday, 3 April at 7pm UK time.
Organised by Doctor Who Managzine’s Emily Cook (@Emily_Rosina on Twitter) and using the hashtag #Fishcustard (we love you, Emily!).
I’m VERY pleased to say that Steven Moffat will be back, live-tweeting with us for The Eleventh Hour watchalong on Friday 3 April at 7pm (UK time)!#FishCustard #DoctorWho pic.twitter.com/ZHKdMEYnAz

Confirmed to join in on Friday are the man himself Steven Moffat and costume designer Ray Holman on a day that is, coincidentally, National Tweed Day.
This follows the two wildly successful Lockdown Who watch-alongs organised by Emily for Doctor Who episodes Rose and Vincent and the Doctor.
If you haven’t already joined in with a watch-along, let me tell you they are a thing of great joy and a truly lovely way of bringing the Doctor Who community together at what is a genuinely anxious and fearful time for many.
In the world we find ourselves in, it is wonderful that the Doctor Who community, both professional and fan, is pulling together more than ever before. From production teams past and present, to Doctor Who Magazine and Big Finish, people are uniting behind the Doctor’s creed. Never cruel, never cowardly. But never give in. Never give up.
And don’t forget, as well bringing a little light into everyone’s secluded living rooms, it’s all to aid the Film and Television Charity. The charity supports actors and other creative and production staff and is never more needed than now, with many freelancers in the industry out of work for the foreseeable future. You can donate through the Doctor Who: Lockdown! campaign below. So give it a thought it you’re enjoying the live tweet events.
