The Prison Paradox kicks off today as Titan Comics’ new Doctor Who series features the Time Lord behind bars in the most escape proof prison in the universe
The first issue of Titan Comics’ latest Doctor Who series is finally here. Everyone Must Go! writer Dan Watters (Batman: Dark Patterns) returns for a time twisting four issue prison break in The Prison Paradox.
The story sees the Doctor and Belinda sidetracked from their attempts to get the nurse back to 2025 when they wind up in a maximum security prison. Panoptopolis Prison is home to some of the worst villains in the galaxy. But the Doctor will need to put together a team of exactly such criminals. Only with their help do he and Belinda have any hope of escape. But the sinister Warden is more than they seem, and has plans of their own for the Doctor…
You can choose between seven variant covers for issue 1. They feature art by series artist Sami Kivelä, and Jay Anacleto, Flops, Natalia Nipuni, as well as photo, foil and black and white versions.
Interior art is by Finland’s Sami Kivelä (Undone by Blood, Abbott, Machine Gun Wizards), while Valentina Bianconi provides colours.
