Doctor Who Comic: The Empire of the Wolf starts this November, and the synopsis and covers are here!
Titan Comics have revealed the covers for issue one of their next Doctor Who mini-series. In The Empire of the Wolf the Doctor finds himself reunited with Rose Tyler long after she was trapped in a parallel universe. A mysterious force she can’t explain has pulled Rose across dimensions. And to make it more complicated, the Time Lord has changed faces on her once again – now he’s all bow ties and tweed! In fact, he’s got an old face too, as the Eighth Doctor also gets pulled into these strange events.
Together they discover that an alternate version of Rose has dubbed herself the Bad Wolf Empress. And now she’s determined to conquer all of reality with only her other self and the two Time Lords (the same Time Lord!?) to stop her.
The four issue Doctor Who: The Empire of the Wolf comes from the established Doctor Who Comic team of writer Jody Houser and artist Roberta Ingranata. With issue #1 due for publication in November, the adventure also marks the 25th anniversary of Paul McGann’s debut in the 1996 TV movie. Issue #1 also comes with four variant covers:
- A – Dave Buisan
- B – Photo montage
- C – Abigail Harding
- D – Christopher Jones
