Thanks to Comic Relief’s Breakfast Club, you could have breakfast with Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill!
Comic Relief is offering Doctor Who fans the chance to win a truly exclusive experience as part of their annual Red Nose Day celebration. The winner and a friend will travel to the BBC studios in Cardiff. And once there you’ll have breakfast with Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill! After meeting the stars of Doctor Who, you’ll then be taken on a tour of the Doctor Who set. What’s more – this won’t be a studio tour taken during a gap in production: you’ll actually get to see the crew in action and see scenes from an upcoming episode being filmed!
The unique prize is being raffled off with tickets available from only £10. You can enter as often as you like, but one entry is enough to have a chance to win.
The auction is part of Comic Relief’s Prizeathon ‘Breakfast Club.’ The Breakfast Club also includes the chance to have breakfast with famed naturalist Sir David Attenborough at the Natural History Museum; breakfast with recent Oscar winner Olivia Colman and the rest of the cast of The Crown on their set; going out for a drink with Tom Hiddleston, or for a drink with Gillian Anderson. And many more.
Doctor Who and Red Nose Day: long term partners in doing good
Emma Freud, the Executive Producer of Red Nose Day, has curated these once in a lifetime experiences.
“I’m SO proud of this year’s Prizeathon. It’s the most unique, cheeky and daring list of prizes we were able to compile. Every one of them has been given by the celebrity themselves.”
Tickets can be bought from the Comic Relief Prizeathon site. The winner will be informed on the 15th of April.
This is just the latest in a long association between Doctor Who and Comic Relief. Most famously, some Doctor Who sketches and mini-adventures have been broadcast as part of Red Nose Day. The Curse of Fatal Death, Space/Time, and From Raxacoricofallapatorius with Love were all first shown on Red Nose Day. While Matt Smith and David Tennant both appeared in comedy sketches (in Tennant’s case featuring a suspiciously familiar substitute teacher coming face to face with Catherine Tate’s Lauren Cooper).
Meanwhile, Red Nose Day 2019 also features Alexander Armstong (Mr Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures and Doctor Who). He’ll be among the team of celebrities climbing Kilimanjaro to raise funds.
