The week started with the release of a new picture of Doctor Who stars Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie in Spain ready to begin filming on episode 2 of series 10.
Twelfth Doctor Capaldi and new companion Mackie are seen taking a selfie outside the City of Arts and Science Museum, Valencia where they will be filming the new episode created by award-winning screenwriter Frank Cottrell-Boyce. The Doctor is dressed (warmly) in new black coat, hoody and t-shirt while companion Bill is attired in something a little brighter (and cooler). Her now, trademark denim jacket tied around her waist.
Valencia’s City of Arts and Science Museum is a stunning location for what begs to be a very futuristic second episode.
Following the announcement of the filming, fans flocked to the location including David M Amoedo, former TV presenter at TV Information who tweeted and Facebook’d some great shots of both Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie.

Then came a video ‘denial’ from British actor Ralf Little, trying to quash rumours that he has no involvement what so ever in the show – ok if he says so!!
On Thursday after four days in Valencia, the Doctor Who team wrapped the second episode. Doctor Who official tweeted with a picture of not only the Doctor’s new screwdriver but his shades. We are sure they are not just to keep the sun out of his eyes!

Not long after Doctor Who Official’s wrap post appeared on Twitter did another surface courtesy of Gatwick Airport. Showing the safe arrival of Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie back in the UK.
