This past week on Doctor Who series 10 started with the announcement that acclaimed actor David Suchet (Poirot) would guest star as The Landlord.
Suchet will join Twelfth Doctor Peter Capaldi and companion Pearl Mackie in an episode written by Mike Bartlett (Doctor Foster). No more is known on the episode.
Behind the Scenes
There were new behind the scenes pics on Instagram. A mystery ‘Out of Order’ sign posted on the TARDIS. A great shot of a smiling Peter Capaldi and members of the crew, in a random corn field followed by an interesting high shot of a contemplating Capaldi.

The final news of the week would have pleased Doctor Who fans heading for New York Comic Con. Peter Capaldi, Pearl Mackie and Steven Moffat would all be attending a panel on Friday 7th October. The panel will reveal some sneak peeks about the new series plus a look at this year’s much anticipated Christmas Special.
But that wasn’t all! Fans of the new Doctor Who spin-off ‘Class’ will also get news. Cast members Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Sophie Hopkins and Vivian Oparah, writer, creator and executive producer Patrick Ness and executive producer Brian Minchin will be there for their own panel.
It was reported by Entertainment Weekly that New York Comic Con would be expanding from its venue at Jacob Javits Convention Centre into Madison Square Gardens. This famous venue will accommodate these special panels plus more.
