Tenth and Eleventh Doctor fans: there are just hours left to vote in the annual RadioTimes.com TV Champion contest.
The contest, now in its third year, is a fun way for fans to decide who will win in each of eight genres. The contest began with 512 stars, and now voting has reduced the actors down to just a handful.
And there’s Time Lord drama!
Doctors Ten and Eleven face off in the Drama category in the contest. Matt Smith is most well known for playing the Eleventh Doctor in BBC’s hit show Doctor Who. He can be seen in an upcoming Netflix show The Crown later this year.
The voting for round four has just begun, and David Tennant is also a contestant in the Drama category for his role in Broadchurch. Tennant stars as DI Alec Hardy, in the atmospheric drama written and created by Chris Chibnall, the incoming showrunner for Doctor Who.
Unfortunately, David’s Broadchurch co-star Olivia Coleman didn’t make it through this round as she lost her battle to Poldark star Aidan Turner. Also moving on to the next round are Mads Mikkelsen (Hanibal), Alexander Vlahos (Versailles), Sherlock stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman (Sherlock is written by Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat and Doctor Who actor and writer Mark Gatiss), and Richard Rankin (Outlander) The contestants are now down to 4, the winners will move forward to the semi-finals.
It will be interesting to see who wins this round. David Tennant is currently in the lead.
The voting for round four closes on July 19th at 3PM BST.
