Today, 4thMay (May the Fourth be with You), Bad Samaritan is released in cinemas around the USA and Canada. The film starring David Tennant and Robert Sheehan (Misfits) is new thriller directed by Dean Devlin and written Brandon Boyce. It will be released in the UK on August 24th.

This is Tennant’s scariest role yet as he portrays the murderous psychopathic monster, Cale Erendreich who terrorises Sean Falco played Robert Sheehan. Falco is a car valet who with his co-worker and best friend Derek (Carlito Olivero) burglarise houses of the owners of cars they park. Sean makes the mistake of breaking into Cale’s Portland, Oregon mansion where he finds a young woman, Helen (Lisa Brenner), tied to a chair in what looks to be a torture room. In a calculated and systematic method, Erendreich seeks revenge on the hapless thief, destroying all that he holds dear.

The movie has opened to mixed critical reviews but garnered a large following at various conventions thanks to the tireless promotion of its director Dean Devlin and the unique fan-based entertainment company LegionM. These fans have nothing but praise for the movie, the cast and creative team and of course David Tennant.
