The Doctor is delighted when the TARDIS returns him to the Himalayas in 1935 near the Detsen monastery where the Doctor had been given a sacred bell, the ghanta, for safe keeping. Expecting tranquility, he discovers that things have changed and the local Yeti have become aggressive and threatening. Capturing one, the Doctor discovers that they are in fact robots, each controlled by a silver sphere located in its chest, but under the guidance of whom?
