In a new video posted on the official Doctor Who Twitter, runner Lauren takes us on a whistle-stop tour behind the scenes at BBC Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff. Check out the video below to see what goes on in the costume, make-up, and second assistant director’s trailers. Also keep an eye out for some brief cameos from Jodie Whittaker (The Doctor) and Mandip Gill (Yasmin Khan)!

A variety of new Doctor Who related clips of have been posted online over this past week after the new series officially began last Sunday night with ‘The Woman Who Fell to Earth‘.

Clips posted yesterday include Jodie Whittaker speaking about the Thirteenth Doctor and her character’s personality. We also saw more of Bradley Walsh’s on-set mischief as he was caught stealing food from the train’s refreshments trolley during the filming of ‘The Woman Who Fell to Earth‘.

In clips released on TuesdayTosin Cole spoke about his role as Ryan Sinclair, and how he does his own stunts! We also learnt more about new companion Yasmin Khan from actress Mandip Gill, plus the dynamics of the incoming TARDIS team. We were also given an insight into the making of the new sonic screwdriver – now with added Sheffield steel!

As well as these, clips released on Wednesday included the first of Yaz’s Case Files, with this instalment recapping everything about the Stenza, and why T’Zim Sha (better known as Tim Shaw) came to Earth. Mandip Gill also appeared on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch to speak about Doctor Who, and what happened when she found out she’d got the part of Yasmin Khan. We also found out more about another of the Doctor’s new friends, Graham O’Brien from actor Bradley Walsh.
