
On the 9th November 2016, trading card company Topps will release their long anticipated Doctor Who Extraterrestrial Encounters trading cards.
Extraterrestrial Encounters allows fans to reenact epic moments and adventures from Doctor Who. There are four categories to collect: base cards, insert cards, costume cards and finally, autograph cards.
The autograph cards will include over 70 signers. 13 of these are brand new signers. Now Hollywood star James Corden headlines the newcomers.

As a result, Topps have a whole Whoniverse of content in their latest trading card offering. The details for the trading card set are as follows:

Base Cards
Extraterrestrial Encounters features a whopping 100 base cards. Meanwhile, the base card set will include 4 parallels – Blue (numbered to 99) – Purple (numbered to 50) – Red (numbered to 25) – Gold (1-of-1).

Insert Cards
Alien Invasion – 50 Years of the Cybermen – Doctors Across Space – Companions Across Space.

Costume Cards
There are 10 costume pieces to collect that feature both heroes and monsters. Ranging from multiple Doctors to their companions, fans can collect their favourite heroes. Additionally, even a few villains stop by: such as The Master!

Autograph cards
As mentioned above, over 70 stars from the show have signed, including 13 new signers. Topps’ signatures included are, but not limited too: David Tennant, Billie Piper, Jenna Coleman, John Hurt, Alex Kingston, Arthur Darvill and John Barrowman. While some signatures are single, dual and triple autographs will be available. Furthermore, an ultra rare Quad Book Auto featuring four autographs will be on offer. This will feature David Tennant, Billie Piper, John Barrowman and Noel Clarke. You can find a full list of autographs here.
