About Heaven Sent

Episode Synopsis:

Trapped in a world unlike any other he has seen, the Doctor faces the greatest challenge of his many lives. One final test. And he must face it alone. Pursued by the fearsome creature known only as the Veil, he must attempt the impossible. If he makes it through, Gallifrey is waiting…

  1. And of course it didn’t win because you need sex scenes to win awards now so they gave it to Jessica Jones of course. The complete lack of recognition for the best Doctor Who season ever just proves that awards are utterly stupid.

  2. All I know about Jessica Jones is that it had David Tennant, so of course that won.

It’s not as if the Hugos are very impressive any longer since all the Sad/Rabid Puppy garbage with their special politically-motivated slates showed that they’ve become a joke.

    Disappointingly predictable.

  3. What a travesty. JJ is trendy trash which has dollops of gratuitous and unnecessary sex and violence and nobody will even remember it in a few months. Heaven Sent has been universally acclaimed as a work of true genius even by people outside the Who fanbase.. Great to see so much outrage today on FB and Twitter. Who actually voted for JJ anyway? Surely the rapid Tennant fangirls don’t have that much clout! Some great consolation tweets to Rachel Talalay from fans and a bunch of Who great and good equally astounded by Heaven Sent being snubbed. Time at least is on its side.
