MCM Comic Con is back in London, and the fun runs through today and Sunday. Hundreds of brilliant guests are expected, including Catherine Tate, who played the companion Donna with Tenth Doctor, David Tennant. Tate will appear both Saturday and Sunday, so there is still a chance to get a Sunday ticket. There are both autograph and photo sessions available with the wonderful Donna Noble. Jemma Redgrave, the steely Kate Lethbridge-Stewart on Doctor Who, will appear all day Saturday.
Despite the Las Vegas-style London heat on Friday, Fans packed the ExCel to see classics like Sam J. Jones of Flash Gordon, Nichelle Nichols from Star Trek, and Lou Ferrigno, the original Hulk. Several cast members from Game of Thrones appear. Many other stars, such as Verne Troyer, dozens of Power Ranger stars, and Warwick Davis, will appear this weekend. The cast members from Class, the Doctor Who spinoff, will also appear.
Early attendance on Friday was impressive, and Doctor Who fans abounded. The first Bill Potts cosplay was spotted, which led to the tempting thought of Pearl Mackie herself making an appearance at conventions in the future.
