The tenth Doctor David Tennant will make a short guest appearance on the popular US animated TV show ‘Family Guy’ when airs in the UK on ITV2, Monday, November 21st at 9pm BST.

Back in July at San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that David Tennant would take part in a short sketch, titled ‘Doctor Who Farted’. The sketch was released online at the time now it will appear in a special behind the scenes programme.

‘Inside Family Guy’ takes viewers behind the scenes of a regular production week, with James Woods as the guide. It will see the ins-and-outs of what goes into the making of an episode and watch the drama unfold as the shows protagonist Peter Griffith is replaced and ends up in the office of Fox Television Group Chairmen and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman to pitch his very own new series.

For those that don’t know, Family Guy is an American adult animated series created by Seth MacFarlane. A show featuring the adventures of the Griffin family often described as sick, twisted and politically incorrect.

The tenth Doctor will be joining other guest voices of American footballers Kyle Chandler and Rob Gronkowski along with NBA star Steph Curry.

The regular voice cast includes Seth MacFarlane as Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Brian Griffin, Quagmire, and Tom Tucker; Alex Borstein as Lois Griffin; Seth Green as Chris Griffin; Mila Kunis as Meg; Mike Henry as Cleveland Brown; and Patrick Warburton as Joe.
