The 1950s called and they want their aliens back! Samuel Barnett returns as agent Norton Folgate in a full cast Torchwood audio adventure to remember

Due for release by Big Finish in July 2021, Madam, I’m sees the return of Dervla Kirwan as Norton’s boss Lizbeth Hayhoe. Set in the heart of 1950s Torchwood Soho, it also features the return of Bryan Dick as the memory-twisting Adam Smith in a prequel to the television episode Adam.

Writer James Goss explained how the idea for the story came about. “Scott Handcock suggested that it’d be great to bring back the memory-twisting Adam from Torchwood Series 2. Cath Tregenna’s creation is so fantastically strange, and this is a prequel to that episode which gives us a chance to see a bit more of Adam and also explore the world of 1950s Torchwood Soho, bringing back Samuel Barnett and Dervla Kirwan (Hooray! An hour of the two of them slinging 1950s insults at each other!). Bryan Dick and Sam know each other of old, which didn’t stop Adam from being almost unbearably unsettling in this.”
