Titan Comics have just unveiled their plans for San Diego Comic Con 2019, including an exclusive variant cover, panel, and signing for their Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor series!
This year’s San Diego Comic Con International is now just over a week away, with the event due to take place from the 18th – 21st July 2019. Ahead of the event, Titan Comics have revealed the range of exciting debuts, variants, limited editions, and special appearances they’re bringing to this year’s convention.
Although the Doctor Who cast may not be appearing at SDCC 2019, fans of the show can expect to see a number of exclusive events featuring the creative team behind Titan Comics’ ongoing Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor series. What’s more, attendees will be able to pick up an exclusive variant of The Thirteenth Doctor #9 (created by Klebs Junior) at the event.
On Sunday 21st July, writers Jody Houser (The Thirteenth Doctor series) and Richard Dinnick (The Thirteenth Doctor: The Many Lives of Doctor Who) will take to the stage for a panel discussion. ‘Creating the Thirteenth Doctor Comics‘ will take place in Room 25ABC from 10am – 11am. Titan Comics editor David Leach will be speaking to Houser and Dinnick about what goes on behind the scenes to create the Thirteenth Doctor series.
Immediately following the panel on Sunday 21st, Jody Houser and Richard Dinnick will be signing Doctor Who comics and graphic novels from 11:30am – 12:30pm at Titan Booth #5537, including the SDCC-exclusive The Thirteenth Doctor #9 variant.
Elsewhere, Titan Comics will be hosting a variety of other panels and signings at San Diego Comic Con International 2019. They’ll also be bringing numerous debuts and exclusive comics to the event.
These include the debut of their highly-anticipated Blade Runner 2019 series, with an exclusive limited-edition variant of issue #1 available, and a Blade Runner panel and signing being held on Friday 19th July. Across the weekend, Titan will also be hosting panels and signings for other series, including Ms. Tree, and Newbury & Hobbes.
