BBC Worldwide and Titan Comics are excited to announce that the Seventh Doctor is back, in comics! This brand-new three-part comic series stars the Seventh Doctor, as played by Sylvester McCoy, alongside his companion Ace, played onscreen by Sophie Aldred. McCoy starred onscreen as the Seventh Doctor from 1987 to 1989 before regenerating in the 1996 TV movie. The Seventh Doctor was a light-hearted eccentric, at first, who darkened into a secretive, mysterious and cunning planner during his tenure. McCoy’s incarnation has also featured in hundreds of novels and comic strips, particularly in Doctor Who Magazine during the 1990’s. The Seventh Doctor’s era continues to live on in the hugely successful range of audios from Big Finish.

  1. It’s only three issues! There’s no faith in the ’80s Doctors. As a guy collecting the Titan runs in hardcover, I’m curious how they’ll sell this one. Maybe a three issue Sixth Doctor is coming up down the line, which they plan to bundle with this one.
