Spring into action with Liv and Tula Chenka through the twisting tales of The Robots Volume 4

Storylines are today revealed for the fourth volume of adventures on the planet of Kaldor, due for release in June 2021. These epic episodes encompass buried secrets, escape under the cover of darkness and a deception that could spell the end… or the start of something new. Big Finish’s full-cast audio sequel to Doctor Who’s The Robots of Death, The Robots, centres around what happens when Liv Chenka (companion of the Eighth Doctor played by Nicola Walker) returns home for a year to join her sister Tula (Claire Rushbrook) among highly artifically intelligent androids. As previously announced, Gregory de Polnay returns to voice D84, last seen in 1977’s The Robots of Death, the original Doctor Who television story where Kaldor first featured.

Script editor John Dorney said: “It’s always great returning to the world of Kaldor, and this release is particularly exciting as it brings together a number of threads, before pushing off in another direction. The Robots is all about consequences, and the consequences of this set will be felt for some time!”

But where are they? And how to stop them? As they try to smuggle the Supervoc out of the city, it’s clear that finding the enemy will be the least of their worries as tonight… the lights are going out.
