  1. Don't get me wrong here. I am SUPER excited about the 'The Name of the Doctor' but this clip sums up everything I hate about current Doctor Who.

Stupid little callbacks like the souffles, the kids, an old letter that just arrived in the post (its not even as if it was delivered by a mysterious stranger like Back to the Future, it just came in the post did it?), madame whats-her-name and 'Dearest Clara' despite only meeting each other for a few minutes and her being the Doctors most trusted friend. AAAH the whole vibe of this clip got me really worked up. Sorry.

I am really looking forward to the finale but Please don't ruin it for me Moffat.

  2. I tend to agree, Fingerscrossed. I'm sure Moffat thinks he's being really clever with all this stuff but really, to the general audience it means nothing. Nothing at all. I really hope he doesn't blow this finale but I can't get my hopes up too high.

  3. Hahaaha, there's that "General Audience" that Doctor Who fans are always so concerned about. It's amazing how well you're able to determine what a group of people who aren't you, and only exist in the abstract, think about a show.

Are you really convinced that this is the only show that features callbacks to previous events, and that the presence of them throws viewers into utter confusion? I'm assuming you're also the type who's been on about how "cancellation is imminent!" and "people are leaving the show in droves!" since about 2010, right?
