Relieve the Doctor’s friends latest adventure as Blogtor Who selects the best of the snark, wisdom and emotional moments of The Ghost Monument

This week on Doctor Who, the Doctor, Graham, Yaz and Ryan were off to their first visit to an alien planet. Quickly they find themselves drawn into a race to get to the fabled ‘Ghost Monument’. Not that the three of them had any such plans when they got out of bed that morning…

“We’re going to die?!”
“Oh, sorry Yaz. I forgot you were there. All going to be fine!
-The Doctor tries and fails, to hit a reassuring tone for Yaz

“We’re about to die and you’re still having a go?!”
-Epzo has never had a backseat driver like The Doctor

“Welcome to what I presume is your first alien planet. Don’t touch anything!”
-The Doctor lays down the law

Eh?! Can people – and things – stop putting stuff inside me without my permission?”
-Graham makes a not unreasonable request

“It’s all gone quite badly wrong, actually. These three have been very good not going on about it.”
-The Doctor

“It’s an old Police Box!”
“Yeah, like the one on Surrey Street.”
-Graham and Yaz acknowledge Sheffield’s real-life surviving Police Box

“It’s very all that actually!”
-The Doctor defends her TARDIS’ honour

“She’s our best hope. Or only option, depending on your politics.”
-Graham is pragmatic about the Doctor

“Venusian aikido. Temporarily paralyzes, while also being fundamentally harmless.Very clever, those Venusian nuns.”
-The Doctor

“My beautiful Ghost Monument…”
-The Doctor is reunited with her TARDIS
