The hugely popular TARDIS set tours are returning to the Doctor Who Experience, Cardiff next month.
From Saturday, April 22nd you will get the chance to step into the actual TARDIS set used in the new series of Doctor Who, located at BBC Wales Roath Lock studios. Tickets go on general sale from Friday, April 7th. Pre-existing ticket holders can purchase from Tuesday 4 April. The tours continue through to May 21st.
What Else is Happening at the Doctor Who Experience?
But for those that would like to get a further look where Doctor Who is filmed can join the ‘Filming Location Tours’. The 75-minute official tour gives an insight into nearly every location used to film Doctor Who in Cardiff Bay. The 2.5 KM walk will take in many episodes from the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctor eras.
All Official Filming Locations Tour tickets come with standard admission to the Doctor Who Experience.

Back in October 2016 BBC Books announced 12 new story book mash-ups written and illustrated by Adam Hargreaves, son of Roger Hargreaves, creator of these now famous and much-loved books.
The first four will be released on April 25th, 2017. They will feature the First, Fourth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors in adventures combining the iconic storytelling of Doctor Who with the whimsical humour of these adorable books. The remaining incarnations will follow soon after.
Monster Day Out
Award winners Millennium FX, creators of some of the wonderful and scary Doctor Who monsters will be at the experience on Easter Saturday, April 15th. There will be LIVE monsters roaming the venue and workshops from the prosthetic experts. There will also be the chance to be partially converted into a Zygon or a Cyberman and to design your very own monster.
