The battle between the Master and the Doctor is over. The Cybermen are defeated.
So what did the Twittersphere think of tonight’s climatic episode??

The Timeless Nerd love it the episode
THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! 😱 ‘The Timeless Children’ was everything I could’ve hoped for AND more!!! ❤️😭
I’m still shaking! 😅 I think I’m gonna have to go back and rewatch the episode because… WOW! #DoctorWho pic.twitter.com/nqzdn0XWw2

Connor Johnston was pleased with how the fam was treated.
Wowowowowowoowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowow
Brilliant. I can’t process it all right now but brilliant.
Quick thing on the companions: they were remarkably served. Watch them grow: Yaz’s confidence, Graham’s fear of mortality, and Ryan got it in the hoop 🥰 #DoctorWho pic.twitter.com/uxMQCKDcQX

And Tim Saxby caught the reference to Tom Baker’s The Briain of Morbius. Whether it was the Doctor or Morbius we can chat about.
For anyone slightly confused tonight’s episode of #DoctorWho linked way back to The Brain Of Morbius (1976) where they revealed the doctor had at least 8 life’s before William Hartnell. Was offered considered a plot hole or to have been written out of the shows history (1/2) pic.twitter.com/upXPVVTXyv

Doctor Who Writer Paul Cornell loved it.
Absolutely brilliant. Built on the mythology. Huge fan emotion moments. Freed up a central concept to let everyone in. Action-packed. Great Master. Top drawer in the next @DWMtweets All Series Poll I think. #DoctorWho

A number of fans concluded that everything is now cannon.
Chris Chibnall just made everything canon. Fan films. Big Finish. Thasmin fanfics. Everything. #DoctorWho

As the Sisterhood thought the title made sense again.
We have no idea who the Doctor is or where they come from. The title makes sense again! #DoctorWho?

Aren’t journalists supposed to be balanced in reporting how fans feel. All I see is the same twitter crowd that get mentioned in articles like this not just from here but others like digital spy. You do know there is fans and these is a lot more who hated this episode and series in general. I think it’s kind of sad the same twitter accounts are featured and there isn’t a balance in the reporting of every part of the fandom. Not everyone thought the The Timeless Children Was Great and you have a duty to report this.
In our multi-review, there were a few including myself that weren’t in love with the episode and we expressed our opinions. So we are allowing other views than “we loved it.” These are reflective criticisms about the plot, the production and the characterisation
Howvever we don’t use works like “hate” and other abusive comments. The internet and social media can be a brutal and destructive place. No more so then when people are against something. I see how brutal comments and abusive criticisms hurt my writers, the people involved in creating this show and the fans, so the rule is here for the writers is that don’t have to like the show but any criticisms must be constructive never attacking and not abusive.
So getting back to the point at hand — the Twitter reactions from those that did not like the show by and far tend to be abusive statement. When I have found people who made constructive criticisms we have use their tweets. However, most are just swearing and brutal so not included.
