  1. Aren’t journalists supposed to be balanced in reporting how fans feel. All I see is the same twitter crowd that get mentioned in articles like this not just from here but others like digital spy. You do know there is fans and these is a lot more who hated this episode and series in general. I think it’s kind of sad the same twitter accounts are featured and there isn’t a balance in the reporting of every part of the fandom. Not everyone thought the The Timeless Children Was Great and you have a duty to report this.

    • In our multi-review, there were a few including myself that weren’t in love with the episode and we expressed our opinions. So we are allowing other views than “we loved it.” These are reflective criticisms about the plot, the production and the characterisation

Howvever we don’t use works like “hate” and other abusive comments. The internet and social media can be a brutal and destructive place. No more so then when people are against something. I see how brutal comments and abusive criticisms hurt my writers, the people involved in creating this show and the fans, so the rule is here for the writers is that don’t have to like the show but any criticisms must be constructive never attacking and not abusive.

So getting back to the point at hand — the Twitter reactions from those that did not like the show by and far tend to be abusive statement. When I have found people who made constructive criticisms we have use their tweets. However, most are just swearing and brutal so not included.
