Last weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, Doctor Who and Torchwood star John Barrowman and Titan Comics released their newest addition to the comic book world in the guise of ‘Torchwood’.
Written by Barrowman and his sister Carole, this new comic book series promises to release all the fond memories of the olden days when the show was on the TV.
The exciting new story will continue on from Russell T Davies’ original series, beginning with Captain Jack making a triumphant return to Cardiff, where he needs the help of the last person who ever expected to see him again.
Illustrations will be produced by Antonio Fuso (Drive, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest) and Pasquale Qualano (Batman ’66, She Hulk, Harely Quinn).
For those not at Comic-Con here is a look inside issue #1 ‘World Without End’ and at the six great covers to collect. The covers are designed by Tommy Lee Edwards, Will Brooks, Elena Casagrande, Blair Shedd and Rod Reis. There is also a blank cover for you to create your own and a special Books-a-Million / Fried Pie Variant created by Claudia Caranfa.
