FF = F and F = V so it Forest Vawr not Forest Phwoar
Thanks!
Great commentary, as always, for a decent episode. I'm asking you as someone who saw the press preview.. I've watched and re watched the aired episode for the edit and I honestly can't see the join. If the original includes the Sheriff being beheaded, where exactly does this happen? If it happens on the beam, after Robin is disarmed, then how does the Sheriff manage to lose his head but fall into the golden melting pot with head still attached? Was it sewn back on again in the edit? And talking of continuity, how did the Doctor and Robin earlier free themselves of their chains. Was there a blacksmiths forge handily located in the castle?
Many thanks!
The cut comes in at "a little past my bedtime". It IS terrifically well done.
The Sheriff loses his head and then puts it back on.
(And how did he get his sonic back?!)
A fun little factoid for you: you mentioned The King's Demons, but did you know that the exterior castle scenes in both The King's Demons and Robot of Sherwood were filmed at Bodiam Castle?
And of course Ben Miller didn't play the Master here… but what would it be like if he did play the Master someday? Imagine that!
Excellent commentary as always — I shall be Listening in next week!
Thanks Lish! VERY interesting!
