    3. The God Complex.
Although River made every story she was in better, those stories were not in themselves, as satisfactory as the three above. Although moments in each were amazing.

  2. 1. The Doctor's Wife
    2. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon
    3. Let's Kill Hitler/The Wedding of River Song

  3. 1. The Doctor's Wife
    2. The Girl Who Waited
    3. Night Terrors

Closely followed by The God Complex. Frankly, I think the episodes written by Moffat were not his best work. Other writers seemed to have a better grasp of knowing how to genuinely move the audience. Moffat's work sadly came across as mechanical as the Teselecta this year. Probably governed by the River Song arc he had to explain.

  4. Ok, no idea how that happened! Thanks for pointing that out Cameron McEwan.

  5. This is my first post (although I am a long time reader, podcast listener and professional lurker!).

    1. The Doctor's Wife
    2. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon
    3. The Girl Who Waited

  6. 1. The Girl Who Waited
    2. The Impossible Astronaut
    3. Let's Kill Hitler

Fun series, but first new series not to eclipse the previous! Which is a shame. But hey, loads of good stuff to sink my teeth into. Viva la Doctor.

  7. 1) The Impossible Astronaut / Day of the Moon
    2) The Doctor's Wife
    3) Let's Kill Hitler

I think the general standard was a lot better this year. Moffat was still on form, but episodes from other writers were much better than they were in series 5.

I loved the arc this year but equally I'm looking forward to seeing what Steven can do with some more standalone stories, especially with a new companion

  8. 1. The Doctor's Wife
    2. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon
    4. A Good Man Goes to War/Let's Kill HItler/The Wedding of River Song

  9. 1. The Doctor's Wife
    2. The God Complex
    2. The Girl Who Waited

I have to say that all thought all three stories were vastly superior to the Moffat arc this past season.

  10. 1. The Impossible Astronaut/Dave the Moon.
    2. The Doctor's Wife.
    3. The Girl Who Waited.

Really enjoyed series 6 and the xmas spesh, up there with the best of NuWho for me. Aided, no doubt, by the Blogtor commentaries 🙂

  11. 1. The Girl Who Waited
    2. The Doctor's Wife
    3. Closing Time

I love Karen Gillan and the beauty is featured in all of them. And the writing in each of my top 3 was so perfect! Mr Moffat please rehire them!

  12. 1. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of The Moon
    2. The Almost people/The Rebel Flesh

That is all. The rest were utter garbage.

  13. The Doctor's Wife
    The God Complex
… I struggle to pick a fave out of the rest, so I'm gonna go with…Let's Kill Hitler.

  14. 1. The Doctor's Wife
    2. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon
    3. Closing Time

But really this year was a bit too dark and rubbish overall. If only the Moffster could get Who as good as Sherlock.

  15. 1. The Doctor's Wife
    2. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon
    3. Closing Time

But really this series wasn't the best. Too dark, not enough fun and too many overly-convoluted plots.

  16. 1. The Girl Who Waited
    2. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon
    3. The Doctor's Wife

Honorable mention: A Good Man Goes to War, The Wedding of River Song

  17. 1. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon

    2. A Good Man Goes To War

    3. The Doctor's Wife

Closely followed by The Girl Who Waited. Others have a pretty much similar rating, apart from The God Complex, which was WAY down due to my coulrophobia 🙂

  18. 1. A Good Man Goes To War
    2. The Doctor's Wife
    3. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon

Close between the first two, but AGMGTW wins on the basis that it was key to the series overall whereas TDW was only a stand-alone episode, but an unusually great one at that.

  19. 1) The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon
    2) The Doctor's Wife
    3) Night Terrors

    …those dolls were creeeeeeepy

  20. 1) Day of the Moon
    2) The Almost People
    3) The Girl Who Waited

I loved that Mark Sheppard was in the season. I loved the look of the Gangers that sas a really inventive storyline and still tied in the main story. TGWW reminded me of a Terry Gilliam flick.

  21. 1. The God Complex
    2. The Doctor's Wife
    3. The Wedding of River Song

#3 was hard because most of the rest had big chunks I loved and bits that I didn't like at all.

  22. 1. The Doctor's Wife
    2. God Complex
    3. The Rebel Flesh / Almost People

(Let's Kill Hitler had some great moments/sequences but as a whole fell short of the top 3)
