Titan Comics have released a preview of the first series of the new Sherlock manga comic book adventures: A Study In Pink.
Though fans may be familiar with multiple incarnations of the famed Sherlock story, A Study in Scarlet, its 2010 BBC adaptation A Study in Pink starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, truly took both the adventure and Sherlock to new heights of popularity. So much so, in fact, that the BBC adaptation has spawned its own adaptation. The latest takes the form of a Titan comic book, styled in Japanese manga and is based on the BBC episode that started it all: A Study in Pink.
Readers will have the chance to re-meet Sherlock and Watson all over again, as played by Cumberbatch and Freeman and written by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss who of course, oversee the award-winning BBC series.

A Study In Pink issue #1 arrives in UK and US stores 8th June with 5 covers to choose from by artists Jay, Alex Ronald and Rod Reis. Price $4.99.
