  1. I hope the writing gets better. All of the scripts are schmaltzy and focused on PC issues that are truly beneath what the real Doctor would be involved in “fixing.” I love Dr. Who and each of the incarnations had something to offer, but the Doctor is a Time Lord Warrior. S/he is not Mother Earth in charge of team mommy mucking about. S/he fixes time rifts and restores order to timelines. What the hell is s/he doing fixing pollution, racism, and corporations? It is perplexing. I saved two seasons of Dr. Who and binged watched them. Jodie is not a bad Doctor, but her higher purpose is being diminished by the writers’ ideas of what women “should” be fixing and caring about rather than what a warrior Time Lord battles. Even with the change in doctors that needs a transitionary period of time, it’s very odd. Even David & Matt did not remain this lost and submissive to some so-called dimensional fate for this long. Seriously. Good & evil, folks. Time rifts, folks. A doctor that heals universe issues that go beyond trivial monologues of aliens.
