Rose Tyler faces the Three Mad Sisters in Time Lord Victorious: Monsterous Beauty. Art by John Ross. Rose Tyler, in a long white dress of faintly Grecian design, with gold ornaments around the neckline, and matching bracelets on her wrists, screams “Nooooo!” in terror as she falls backwards off her chair in an exaggerated action pose. Around her three vampire women lunge at her, with huge eyes and massive fangs in their corpse like faces. Each is pale and dressed in elaborate 17th century style white gowns and their poses are if they’ve launched themselves towards Rose from across entire room from three different directions, as if possessed of superhuman strength. In the doorway, a bald male vampire in monk’s robes rubs his hands together gleefully, as he leaves through the doorway, looking back of his shoulder as he smirks “Dinner is served…” The walls floor and ceiling are all of rough stone, and the table and chair are simply decorated wood. The colour scheme is dark, with everything in blacks and bale blues apart from Rose herself, whose blonde hair and pink skin provide the only colour in the page. The art is clean comic book style with sharp edges and strong lines. (c) Panini
