About Class

‘Class’ is set at the fictional Coal Hill School, which has long been a fixture in the world of Doctor Who. Coal Hill made its first appearance in the very first episode of the show; Susan, the First Doctor’s granddaughter, was a student at Coal Hill back in 1963. Coal Hill is also the school where Clara taught. Her maths teacher boyfriend Danny Pink, also worked there. The school is also featured in several episodes with Peter Capaldi, the Twelfth Doctor. It is students at Coal Hill who spread the word of frozen airplanes in the sky in The Magician’s Apprentice.
Other Who stars, Jenna Coleman, Matt Smith and Karen Gillan are also expected to attend.
