Five new t-shirts from Forbidden Planet celebrate the comic book art of Doctor Who
Yet more Doctor Who merchandise is on the way to Forbidden Planet, with new print on demand t-shirts. There are five designs joining the collection.
The Doctors and Companions t-shirt is fronted by art by Kelly Yates. It depicts the Twelfth Doctor’s TARDIS packed with his past selves and former companions. All of the first twelve incarnations are featured along with companions such as Ian and Barbara, Rose, K-9, Jamie, Ace, and many, many more.
The Four Doctors’ Catchphrases t-shirt features artwork of the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors. Each of four comic book panels features a different catchphrase of the respective Doctor – “Fantastic!”, “Allons-y!”, “Geronimo!” and “Dude.” (No, we’re not sure about that last one either.) Blogtor hasn’t been able to confirm, but the art seems to be from the Supremacy of the Cybermen comic.
The Three Doctors Selfie t-shirt, meanwhile, uses Kelly Yates’ art from the cover of The Four Doctors #1, with the Tenth Doctor insisting on taking a selfie with the cheerful Eleventh and the much less enthusiastic Twelfth.
The Haunted Halloween TARDIS t-shirt is out in plenty of time to get yours before October. The art features the 2005 TARDIS design between a carved pumpkin and a gravestone, all set against a full moon while Weeping Angels descend from the sky.
The Dugga Doo t-shirt celebrates the breakout star of The Interstellar Song Contest with new red and yellow cartoon logo design on the left side of the chest.
Several older designs are now available in women’s fits for the first time
Meanwhile, a number of previous t-shirts are now available in women’s fits for the first time. These include designs from recent episodes, such as Rogue, Boom, and Empire of Death. There are also tees for the Eleventh and Thirteenth Doctors, again out in women’s fit for the first time.
