Fantastic new merchandise arrives in Forbidden Planet with the Diamond Collection’s new update

Forbidden Planet’s range of 60th Anniversary Doctor Who merchandise, the Diamond Collection, gets ever closer to the present day with the addition of the first 21st century incarnation. Yes, it’s Christopher Eccleston’s turn to have a set of merchandise dedicated to him! The collection features a range of products including t-shirts, sweatshirts, coasters, badges, mugs and art prints.

This version of the Time Lord is represented by two designs. The first is a full length portrait, along with the text “The Ninth Doctor” in the style of the 2005 title sequence. There’s also imagery featuring the Doctor, the TARDIS, and Rose Tyler, and the new Gallifreyan text introduced in this era. That design includes this incarnation’s much loved farewell speech from The Parting of the Ways. “Rose, before I go I just want to tell you. You were FANTASTIC. Absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I!”

The complete list includes:

  • The Ninth Doctor art print
  • The Ninth Doctor t-shirt (unisex and women’s fits)
  • The Ninth Doctor sweatshirt
  • The Ninth Doctor mug
  • The Ninth Doctor coaster
  • FANTASTIC art print
  • FANTASTIC t-shirt (unisex and women’s fits)
  • FANTASTIC sweatshirt
  • FANTASTIC mug
  • FANTASTIC coaster
  • FANTASTIC pin badge

Meanwhile, many of the designs celebrating the first eight Doctors, as well as John Hurt’s War Doctor, are still available now on posters, t-shirts, prints, badges and more. So too are t-shirts and hats featuring the “60 YEARS” logo and a series of monsterous items featuring the Daleks, Cybermen, Yeti, Sutekh, and many, many more. So whether you’d like a copy of the “IT IS FORBIDDEN TO DUMP BODIES IN THE RIVER” poster from The Dalek Invasion of Earth, a “Reverse the Polarity” mug, or a “Greatest Show in the Galaxy” hoodie, there’s still time to pick up yours!

The full list is available from Forbidden Planet now.
