The original companions of the Second Doctor are back to tell new and unheard tales of his era in the latest volume of The Companion Chronicles audio adventures

Since 2007, Big Finish has produced a special range of Doctor Who audiobooks called The Companion Chronicles. These explore the further adventures of the Doctor’s friends and enemies as seen through the eyes of his companions. The latest box set in the range is due for release in April 2022. Frazer Hines (Jamie) stars in and narrates the first two stories, while Wendy Padbury (Zoe) leads the final two. These four audio adventures offer a unique listening experience combining narration and cast dialogue with specially composed music and effects.

Producer Ian Atkins said: “It’s a complete delight to see these four stories released, and to know people are finally going to hear tales that were first being put together over four years ago.

“Incoming producer Dominic G Martin has done truly miraculous work in getting scripts into studio, putting people together and bringing life to Penny and Paul’s words. I know I’m not the only one who can’t wait to hear them!”
