OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS
Twice Upon A Time – The Doctor Who Christmas Special
The magical final chapter of the Twelfth Doctor’s (Peter Capaldi) journey sees the Time Lord team up with his former self, the first ever Doctor (David Bradley – Harry Potter, Game of Thrones) and a returning Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie), for one last adventure.
Two Doctors stranded in an Arctic snowscape, refusing to face regeneration. Enchanted glass people, stealing their victims from frozen time. And a World War One captain destined to die on the battlefield, but taken from the trenches to play his part in the Doctor’s story.
An uplifting new tale about the power of hope in humanity’s darkest hours, Twice Upon A Time marks the end of an era. But as the Doctor must face his past to decide his future, his journey is only just beginning…

It sounds like an incredible adventure and a fitting end to the Capaldi and Moffat era. And with Moffat hinting that the regeneration is different this time, it’ll also provide an exciting introduction to the Thirteenth Doctor.
The synopsis also opens up some tantalising questions for the Christmas Special. Who are the enchanted glass people? And remember, we haven’t seen them yet, so what will they look like? Who is Mark Gatiss’ World War One captain? How does Bill Potts return?
All these questions and more will be answered on Christmas Day. Doctor Who: Twice Upon a Time airs on Christmas Day 2017 on BBC One and BBC America.
When the 9th regenerated, we saw the 10th Doctor in the Xmas special. Now we must wait EIGHT months ?????
Waaaah !!!.
