Steven Moffat has been interviewed in the most recent edition of US magazine, Entertainment Weekly (see the two Doctor Who covers HERE and picture shoot HERE). In it, the current showrunner reveals that his time on the show may be coming to an end; Moffat states:
“I just take it a year at a time. It is knackering work. I’ve stopped writing other shows before, and you just want to leave – not that you hate it, but just ‘I’m done’.”
No he can't leave he's brilliant, he must stay his stories are the best.
Well Steven. Leave then….
He also said, "I think the feeling of it being done for you is quite unambiguous when it suddenly arrives." The fact that he's planning series 8 suggests that that feeling hasn't arrived, so he's unlikely to depart with the haste you desire.
We love you Steven Moffat! <3
Don't you think steven does the best stories
Do you want me to call you a taxi??? I'll pay if your a bit short. here let me help you pack.
How about knock it off with Sherlock, then? That's not knackering at all then? That one's a effortless joy to whip together?
I've been watching Sherlock get better and better as Who slides into soap opera land. How about focusing on ONE show (the FLAGSHIP!), doing it well, and relaxing when it's done? That just too crazy of a plan to consider? Dope.
(Of course I'm writing like this because I'm sure he'll never see it. 😉 )
É só isso, não tem mais jeito, acabou, boa sorte, não tenho o que dizer, são só palavras, xau meu filho
