Appeals are being made to help find Arachnids in the UK actor Tanya Fear, who has gone missing in Los Angeles
UPDATE: Tanya Fear has now been found, and the LAPD report that she is recovering in hospital
Tanya Fear, also known as Tanyaradzwa Fear or Pauline Fear, is missing and her family and friends are increasingly worried for her safety. Known to Doctor Who fans for playing Dr. Jade McIntyre in Arachnids in the UK, the actor and stand up comedian was last seen in the Hollywood Bowl area of Los Angeles on the 9th of September. However since then neither her family in the UK nor her friends in the US have had any contact from her.
Tanya is described as 5’3″, 140lbs (10st/64kg), with black curly afro hair, and with dark brown eyes. As she’s a British actor working in the United States, witnesses may have particularly noticed her English accent. She has been performing a series of stand up gigs in Los Angeles at venues such as the HaHa Club and the Comedy Nook.
People who think they may have seen her, or may have information about her disappearance (and only those people, please), should call (626) 232-8616. Everyone else has been asked to help spread the word among people in the greater Los Angeles area, and on social media using the hashtag #FindTanyaFear.
UPDATE: Her family have supplied a description of what she was last seen wearing:
When last scene Tanya was wearing a short-sleeved brown collared fitted top with a few buttons at the top and what appeared to be dark plaid pants, with black and red stripes, but which could have been shorts. Her hair was out in an afro style similar to the photo of her below.
