A number of people have noticed that the music used in the recent Mid~Series Trailer for SERIES 4 of DOCTOR WHO has not been used in the show before. The music, in fact, is not even written by regular DW composer MURRAY GOLD. The piece of music is called Hellstorm and was composed by KLAUS BADELT. You can find it on THIS album, a collection of stock music for film and television. Here it is:
Klaus did some of the music for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies…can’t recall which one, off-hand. But now that I hear that music outside of the mid-series trailer…yeah, that’s definitely not Murray Gold!
Yeah, he did the music for the first Pirates film.
