Current TARDIS occupants Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman have been talking about the Doctor Who Series 7 finale, The Name of the Doctor, to the BBC. Discussing the villains of the piece, The Whispermen, Matt describes them as “a modern day classic with
a brilliant style. They’re truly
terrifying!” whilst Jenna adds they are the “best baddies! I really think they are going to become
another Moffat classic.”

Regarding the plot of The Name of the Doctor, Smith teases: “With the 50th [anniversary], this is going to be
by far the biggest year in the history of the show. And the finale is just the start. It focuses on a pivotal moment in the
Doctor’s life and the life of his companion.
It’s a complete game changer and it all starts now.”

Whilst Coleman states, “There are little bits and pieces, which Steven [Moffat] planted a couple of
years ago. It’s just really clever and a
crucial moment in the Doctor’s life that you get to explore,” and on the topic of Clara and her impossibleness, the actress says, “All I can say is that Clara hasn’t just
met the Doctor three times before…”

They come in like the bleedin' Gentlemen from Buffy…
Am I the only one that thinks these Whispermen dudes look exactly like the Trickster from Sarah Jane Adventures?
Not having watched SJA because I am a 40 year old with too much self-consciousness about him, I can't speak to your comment Dave. Having just looked on Tardis.Wikia however you may be right!
@Dave Ellis Grim: You are right!! They DO look like the Trickster. I wonder if they are going to tamper with the Doctor's past or something…
100% look like the Trickster Dave
Is it only me who thinks the words "we visit a place from a long… long time ago"is Gallifrey? Also the trailer shows a planet that looks like the sun but… I don't think it is… I think it is Gallifrey…
