Madame Tussauds Blackpool adds Rosa Parks, Tzim-Sha, King James I and more… including the most dangerous creature in the universe…
Last year Blogtor Who reported on how the world famous Madame Tussauds were adding a waxwork of the Thirteenth Doctor to their Blackpool Museum. Now we can reveal that, just in time for the Easter holidays, they’ve expanded their Doctor Who exhibit. In fact, they’ve added a whole range of costumes from the 2018 series. More than that, fresh from this year’s Resolution, Whittaker’s waxwork doppelganger comes face to face with her greatest enemy…

The additions to the display include:
- Tzim-Sha (The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos)
- Espo (The Ghost Monument)
- Angstrom (The Ghost Monument)
- Rosa Parks – (Rosa)
- Sniperbot – (The Ghost Monument and The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos)
- Astos – (The Tsuranga Conundrum)
- Thijarians – (Demons of the Pubjab)
- Kerblam! Man (Kerblam!)
- King James I (The Witchfinders)
- Becka Savage (The Witchfinders)
- The Ux (The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos)
- Dalek (Resolution)
- Lin (Resolution)
It should be noted that these new exhibits are displays of the costumes rather than full waxworks though, obviously, in the case of aliens like Tzim-Sha, the Kerblam! Man and the Dalek that’s a little irrelevant.

The focal point of the exhibition will remain the full waxwork of the Doctor herself, alongside a screen used TARDIS. In fact, it’s the very same TARDIS prop that appeared in The Ghost Monument and in Shaun Dooley’s iconic image that helped launch the series.
For a number of years fans had become used to the routine of the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff rotating its collection of artifacts to highlight items from the most recent episodes. With the Experience now sadly closed, it will delight many fans, old and young, to see Madame Tussauds stepping in to fill that gap.
So whether you just want to cower from the Sniperbots, take selfies with the Thijarians to just want to measure up the inside leg of Epzo’s jumpsuit for your next cosplay, Blackpool is the place to be this Easter.
