Knock Knock. Who’s there? An obvious joke. Twitter reactions.
You can read our review of ‘Knock Knock’ here, but we want to know what you think. So we’ve looked into the woodwork of Twitter to see what reactions are wriggling beneath.
Before the episode had even aired, the puns were flowing.
I predict David Suchet is in fact talking to a wig in the next episode of #DoctorWho.

The continuity guy's Knock Knock joke at the beginning was the only bad thing about the whole episode. #doctorwho

There was a lot of praise for the cast.
Now THAT'S #DoctorWho. Great, clear script, David Suchet was the best villain in years and characters young audience cared about survived ?

Especially Colin Ryan’s hapless Harry.
#DoctorWho Great episode tonight – can we have more Colin Ryan please? He stole the show as Harry!
— Eddie Clements (@jejclements) May 6, 2017
And David Suchet’s villainous turn, of course.
David Suchet was the perfect creepy landlord I have to say. #DoctorWho

But the response to the monsters was less enthusiastic (in a good way).
Now I feel all like I have insects all over me, Plus a craving for prawn crackers #doctorwho @david_suchet was great at creeping me out!!

enjoyed #DoctorWho tonight but the explanation of the bugs was just weird

And while the ambience was appreciated.
The surround sound effects are so cool #DoctorWho

Oooo that was creepy. It had a great atmosphere. I enjoy that type of story. No nails left & half a cushion from chewing it 😉 #Doctorwho

Thought it was great. Scary concept, creepy visuals, but also genuinely moving. Bit of an easy get-out, but that's no big deal.#DoctorWho
— Laurie McHale (@LozTheValeyard) May 6, 2017
Some felt let down by the ending.
Yeah great first two acts and then was a little lost in the finally third. A resolution that has to be explained is lacking #DoctorWho
— David McLaughlin (@FalcoMaton) May 6, 2017
Knock Knock started out really strong and then kind of fell apart at the end. JUST LIKE THE HOUSE IN THE EPISODE GET IT #DoctorWho
— Joel Hopton (@JoelHopton) May 6, 2017
While some were wondering if Mike Bartlett should have been involved with ‘Class’.
Good episode! Can't help but think this should be where Class began… #DoctorWho

Unsurprisingly, speculation on the vault was at an all-time high.
It's definitely Missy in the vault, let's be honest #DoctorWho
— Zack Attree (@zackattree) May 6, 2017
#DoctorWho What's in the Vault?
-Russell T Davies. "Steven, this isn't funny anymore. Steven! Steven!"— Major General Satire (@SontaranPR) May 5, 2017
Clearly it's Liberace in The Vault in #DoctorWho.

But everyone seems to agree that this is an episode you can’t knock…
…Sorry.
Oh, alright then.
I thought it was OK but it dragged a bit. Good twist at the end. It was a mistake to cut the reference to Harry being Harry Sullivan’s grandson, though – that would have given a bit more weight to what happens to him. So far Series 10 has been all right, but it’s not living up to the greatness of Series 8 or 9 yet. Hoping Oxygen will start to see things improve.
