So Doctor Who is back with a Special Delivery for all BlogtorWho readers. What did everyone think of Kerblam!!!
A Familiar Fez
For most fans, there was a return to the old as a familiar piece of red velvet appeared on our screen.
Did Matt Smith return?
? Deliveries may take up to two regenerations. #DoctorWho pic.twitter.com/3VbUSB1ub5

Glad to see The Doctor finally got a new fez. Two regenerations is long time to wait for a delivery though. #DoctorWho
— Adam Kirk (@Akirk_93) November 18, 2018
THAT is how you do fan service! The subtle mention of ‘The Unicorn & The Wasp’ and the fez! #DoctorWho

Julie & Judy
And there was a love for Julie Hesmondhaigh. Chris Chibnall must adore her as well since he brought her over from Broadchurch Season 3 – in a bit happier role this time.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that Julie Hesmondhalgh is brilliant in everything. #DoctorWho
— Gareth King (@_garethking) November 18, 2018
#DoctorWho was anyone else 100% sure that Julie Hesmondhaigh's character was going to have her head knocked off and be revealed as a robot in a last minute TWIST? All that talk of her father (creator?) & how nobody trusted her etc. Maybe I'm too paranoid

Kreepy Kerblam Man
And did that Robot Postal worker look familiar??? I swear he ran into Amy Pond and Sarah Jane a few years back.
#DoctorWho did anyone else think the workers where being turned into the delivery robots?
— Niall McGuigan (@niall5982) November 18, 2018
I’m genuinely terrified of the Kerblam robots, high key nightmare fuel#DoctorWho
— Sam (@OfHouseSharpe) November 18, 2018
Please don't tell me the jolly postman is replacing the cybermen? #Doctorwho
— Alexandra Pearson (@alexpearsonUK) November 18, 2018
Under the Hat
But who was under that Postal Worker Hat? Richard Price, that’s who. Take a look at these great pix from Rich.
These guys are an absolute dream to work with hope you all loved #Kerblam #DoctorWho loved my fellow Robot Team ??? #JodieWhittaker #BradleyWalsh pic.twitter.com/la1F1zxIXi

Return of the (Lee) Mack
And we can’t forget Lee Mack. He stole each scene he was in. Whether it was chatting about his daughter or his comedic retorts to the Kerblam Man.
At first I was like 'jeez, they really underused Lee Mack didn't they?'
But then I realised that, actually, nah – that was the perfect use of Lee Mack. While it was short it was impactful, and really helped move the plot along. #DoctorWho

My family rather enjoyed that; my dad watched it cos Lee Mack was in it – he seemed to like it.
Lovelylovelylovely. #doctorwho

Genius decision to have Lee Mack in the episode! #DoctorWho
— hannah (@BookFangirling) November 18, 2018
Not enough Lee Mack or Claudia Jessie in that episode but I liked it #DoctorWho

Super-Happy-Fun-Slide
Who doesn’t love a long slide? Conveyor scene reminded a few about Monsters Inc.
The Doctor's disappointed face when she's told she can't climb on the conveyor ?? #DoctorWho
— Debbie-Leigh W (@DebbieLeighDLW) November 18, 2018
that conveyor scene in #doctorwho was so much like that door scene in monsters inc pic.twitter.com/khpaVO9w7x

I would totally take that dispatch ride.
10/10

Bursting Your Bubble
I sure that this Doctor Who episode is going to result in me being banned for popping the bubble wrap.
For decades #DoctorWho monsters were made of bubble wrap. Now the villain is bubble wrap. @PeteMcTighe has just gone full meta and I love it.
— Ben Williams (@wenbbilliams) November 18, 2018
Personally I really liked today’s #doctorwho. I like the whole ‘humans are the monsters’ theme we seem to have. The bubble wrap ruined the ending for me but it wasn’t terrible in my eyes #JodieWhittaker
— Vicki Toogood (@ToogoodVicki) November 18, 2018
Brilliant episode really enjoyed that. Beware of bubble wrap guys. Also.. little thing when Ryan was playing with the bubble wrap at first..what if he popped it?! @TosinCole @MandipGill #DoctorWho #JodieWhittaker @DoctorWho_BBCA @bbcdoctorwho

Do *not* take the joy of popping bubble wrap away from me ? #DoctorWho

Happy Customers – The Overall Response
But overall this one hit the spot. As many claimed that we had returned back to Doctor Who.
YES. That's my #DoctorWho! Action, adventure, excitement, sinister robots, twists and turns and bombastic speeches and funny bits and sad bits and dramatic bits and THANK YOU @PeteMcTighe!
— Pete Dillon-Trenchard (@PeteDTrenchard) November 18, 2018
Kerblam! That was fantastic – a pure distillation of #doctorwho!
— The Sisterhood of Karn (@sisterhood_karn) November 18, 2018
Great episode of #DoctorWho nice twists, creepy robots, an unexpected threat and, hey, someone remembered Ryan's coordination issue! I hope Chibnall's already got Pete McTighe signed up for more episodes.
— paul starkey (@lunar_werewolf) November 18, 2018
10/10 Blimey that was brilliant. A story that felt fresh, scary and full of twists and turns. Good characters, great concept and you can't get more traditional #DoctorWho than a bubble wrap monster!
— Matthew Purchase (@TheCyberdevil) November 18, 2018
Well, I thought Kerblam! was terrific. Lots of lovely ideas and twists I didn’t see coming. Cracking romp.
