It has just been announced that a Good Omens panel will be taking place at New York Comic Con next month. The panel for the upcoming Amazon Prime Original series will be on Saturday 6th October at 10am EDT (3pm BST) at the theatre at Madison Square Garden. Participants will include Neil Gaiman, as well as lead actors David Tennant and Michael Sheen, who will star as demon Crowley and angel Aziraphale respectively.

This comes well ahead of Good Omens‘ premiere, which is set for 2019. The series will be a long-awaited screen adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Good Omens follows an angel (Aziraphale) and a demon (Crowley), as they attempt to avert the apocalypse. Along the way, they encounter an eclectic cast of characters, including a witch (and witch-finders), the four horse-persons of the apocalypse, and an eleven-year-old boy who just so happens to be the Antichrist, as they race to stop the end of the world. This weird, wonderful and well-loved story will certainly make for thrilling viewing when it hits our screens next year.

Doctor Who fans will no doubt remember Gaiman as the writer of two Eleventh Doctor stories, namely The Doctor’s Wife and Nightmare in Silver. A whole host of familiar faces can also be found among the cast, with Tenth Doctor David Tennant and Michael Sheen (who voiced House in 2011’s The Doctor’s Wife) in the lead roles. Joining them will be fellow Doctor Who stars Mark Gatiss, Steven Pemberton (Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead) and Reece Shearsmith (Sleep No More), as well as Derek Jacobi (Utopia), Paul Kaye (Under the Lake/Before the Flood), Daniel Mays (Night Terrors) and David Morrissey (The Next Doctor).

Good Omens will air on Amazing Prime Video and BBC Two in 2019.
