On the 30th September, you can join the BBC Writersroom as they present ‘Writing Doctor Who’.
This free event will feature award-winning writer and executive producer Steven Moffat and script editor Nick Lambon as they talk about the process of script to screen. Explore how Doctor Who is written, forensically examining the process as never before.
Steven Moffat’s writing helped re-introduce the Doctor to a very welcoming public in 2005 and by 2010 he was in charge. Moffat has written some of the most beloved Doctor Who episodes of all time. While The Empty Child and The Girl in the Fireplace were masterpieces, Blink, the indelible story of Sally Sparrow (Carey Mulligan) and the Weeping Angels, is perhaps his most revered work.
Steven Moffat and Nick Lambon will be interviewed on stage by BBC Writersroom’s Gavin Collinson followed by an open audience Q&A.
The event is by ticket only, Tickets are FREE! The event is taking place at the BBC Radio Theatre in New Broadcasting House, London from 2pm. Ticket-holders are advised to arrive early.
