Birmingham Cineworld is pulling out all the stops for a special Red Carpet premiere of David Tennant’s new movie You, Me and Him. And you can be there with all the stars including Lucy Punch (Hot Fuzz, Vexed, Motherland), Faye Marsay (The White Queen, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who – The Last Christmas), David Tennant (Doctor Who, Jessica Jones, Good Omens, Bad Samaritan), Sally Philips (Bridget Jones, Smack the Pony, Decoy Bride), producer Georgia Tennant (Spooks, White Van Man, Doctor Who – The Doctor’s Daughter, The Five(ish) Doctors) and the movie’s writer and director Daisy Aitkens (Watson and Oliver, 96 Ways to Say I Love You) , as a limited number of tickets are available to the public for £36.00 each.
Held at Birmingham’s Broad Street Cineworld on Saturday 31st March at 6:30 pm, the screening will also feature a chat with the film’s creative team, Daisy Aitkens and Georgia Tennant, along with David Tennant and other stars of the movie prior to the screening. Local celebrities such as BBC West Midlands host Nick Owen, musician Jack Savoretti, Burnley FC footballer Jack Cork and Jimmi Harkishin of Coronation Street will also attend.
You, Me and Him is the first feature length film written, directed and produced by the creative team of Aitkens and Tennant. The two women first worked together on the short, 96 Ways to Say I Love You, and put together a stellar cast for their first movie. In addition to David Tennant, You Me and Him features several other well-known actors, many that will be familar to Doctor Who fans, including Peter Davison (5th Doctor), Ingrid Oliver (Osgood), Sarah Parish, David Warner, Nina Sosanya and Don Warrington, to name a few.
The premiere event is in support of Baby Lifeline – a unique mother and baby charitysupporting the care of pregnant women and their newborn and unborn babies. David Tennant has recently become an Ambassador for this charity’s £5 million Monitoring for Mums Appeal, which provides monitoring equipment for maternity and neonatal units across the UK.
Baby Lifeline is the official charity partner of You, Me & Him and money raised at the event will be donated to the Monitoring for Mums Appeal.

You, Me and Him
You, Me and Him is a romantic comedy about a couple at different points in their lives: high-powered lawyer Olivia (Lucy Punch) is nearly 40 and wants to start a family but her free-wheeling younger partner Alex (Faye Marsay) doesn’t share her urgency. What happens next involves recently-divorced neighbour John (David Tennant) and creates a tangled web of consequences, and pregnancies.
