Captain Jack himself, the immortal John Barrowman, has made it to the final three in the I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! final!
Eleven has become three, and Doctor Who and Torchwood star John Barrowman is in tomorrow’s final of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Having made it to the final four, today’s episode saw Barrowman taking part in the iconic Celebrity Cyclone trial. Despite his earlier sprained ankle following a trip (Most Doctor Who Injury Ever™) our hero still did his bit. Pelted with water cannons and rubber balls, he had to unscrew giant rubber stars and throw them to his teammates as they made their way up a water slide to secure tonight’s meal.
Barrowman’s jungle adventure over the past three weeks has featured him swimming with crocodiles, climbing out over the edge of hundred foot cliff, being buried alive with spiders and snakes, and heroically winning a team boat race by simply getting out and swimming, while pushing his entire team ahead of him.
Big Finish’s Emily Atack has also made it to the final
Emily Atack, best known for her role in The Inbetweeners, has also made it to the final alongside Barrowman. Atack also played Hetty Warner in Big Finish’s The Churchill Chronicles. As the Doctor is travelling alone in those adventures, Atack’s character fulfilled the ‘companion substitute’ role in those adventures, alongside the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors.
The final threesome is rounded out by former football manager Harry Redknapp.
