The February 2018 edition of Doctor Who Magazine is out 11 January and features an exclusive interview with Thirteenth Doctor Jodie Whittaker.
“Jodie Whittaker is the Doctor!” hails the latest edition of Doctor Who magazine, which is due out this week, and features an exclusive interview with the woman herself.
The magazines has an article from new showrunner Chris Chibnall in which he talks about his plans for the programme about everyone’s favourite time traveller from Gallifrey.
There is a feature on legendary composer Dudley Simpson, who died in November 2017 at the grand old age of 95 and leaves behind an incredible body of work. Simpson famously created Doctor Who incidental music from 1964 well into the 1980s, covering the first four Time Lords (William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker), three producers and almost 300 episodes.
In ‘The Director’s Cut’ the wonderful Rachel Talalay, who directed last year’s Christmas special Twice Upon A Time talks about regeneration. There’s a ‘Meet the Dr Men’ pice with Adam hargreaves on the fabulous Doctor Who/Mr Men mash-ups.
The magazine cover also gives a tantalising glimpse into other features, including Who is John Smith?, TARDIS building, and The Krikkitmen, a race of androids from an unproduced serial written by Douglas Adams. That’s definitely one to look forward to!
