John Barrowman made it to the final of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here finishing third. After several weeks in the jungle of Australia, the Captain Jack actor can now escape the lizards and creepy crawlies.

For those unfamiliar with the programme, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is a reality TV show broadcast on ITV. Celebrities abandon all creature comforts and have to camp in an Australian jungle. In order to earn meals for the camp those celebrities have to complete Bushtucker Trials. These range from being covered in creepy crawlies to eating stomach-churning ‘jungle foods’.

As Doctor Who and Torchwood fans BlogtorWho is firmly supporting John Barrowman. First appearing in ‘The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances‘, John stood out as the new character of Captain Jack Harkness. Away from the camera he is a wonderful person, caring and thoughtful, seen by the British public looking out for others in the camp on I’m a Celebrity. He was also injured on the reality show, suffering a sprained ankle when he slipped and fell. Plus, if you didn’t cry when John was reunited with Scott then you must be made of stone.

Huge congratulations to John from all of us at BlogtorWho. Thank you entertaining us for all these weeks.
