Today (5 January) marks the birthday of Clayton Hickman, probably known best to readers of this website as the former editor the official Doctor Who Magazine. As well as managing the publication for over five years – and becoming the longest-serving editor, at the time – Hickman has also contributed to numerous other Doctor Who-related articles.
With Gareth Roberts, he has written many stories, including The One Doctor for Big Finish, several episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures and Wizards vs Aliens. Also having designed the covers for many early Big Finish releases and Doctor Who DVDs, Hickman is perhaps now best known as a beloved and prolific Twitter user, where his tweets regularly inspire debate about our favourite show – particularly the 1960s TARDIS control room.
Wherever he is and whatever he’s doing, we hope Clayton has a brilliant day!
