The BFI have announced details of two upcoming Doctor Who screenings, both featuring the Eleventh Doctor as played by Matt Smith. On Sunday 8 December, both The Eleventh Hour and The Name of the Doctor will be screened. The event starts at 15:45 with a Q&A panel following, guests TBA. Tickets will go on sale in November.
Also, as the BFI nears the end of its year long celebration of Doctor Who, BFI Southbank will, in association with BBC Worldwide, screen the special 50th Anniversary episode of  the show on Saturday November 23rd, 2013 – simultaneously with the broadcast on BBC One.
Programmer of BFI’s Doctor Who at 50 strand Justin Johnson said: “The BFI is very proud of our long relationship with both the BBC and the Doctor Who production team, and we are delighted to be able to mark the 50th anniversary, and the culmination of our year long celebrations, with this special screening of The Day of the Doctor
