A platoon of Judoon left the world of Doctor Who to invade Victoria Station, thrilling and terrifying commuters

A little while ago Blogtor Who might have said the promotion for Doctor Who Series 12 was in full swing. However this week it appears to have gone into overdrive. The highlight of yesterday’s Doctor Who action was a Judoon invasion of Victoria Station in London. And not for the filming of a scene. No, real commuters suddenly found themselves face to face with the most intimidating flatfoots in the galaxy.

Across Twitter, users shared their amazement and laughter as the space rhinos kept the plaza secure from any littering (sentence: death), loitering (sentence: death), or fare dodging (sentence: death and a £200 fine).

Connor Johnston caught on video the moment Victoria Station was seized by the Doctor Who monsters in the name of the Shadow Proclamation

Doctor Who digital marketing manager Luke Spillane also posted some his favourite pictures from the troop, highlighting Doctor Who’s place on the large screen in the plaza.

Meanwhile the Time Ladies were on hand as well with some of their favourite photos from the event

Fetin was with the team too and learned the invaluable lesson — don’t poke a Judoon.

Bo! Ro! Ko! Yo!

She did however also have a lot of fun with the interactive screen which dropped you into the middle of an alien landscape with the TARDIS and the Judoon

As Beth records, the Judoon Captain (with their spiffy new mohawk) was also on hand to intimidate any potential young offenders

Commuter Georgia Harper also got some cool photos of the Doctor Who fun at the station

We also know that the Judoon will be returning to television screens in the New Year, though the exact episode of Series 12 they’re in is under wraps for now.
